A 27-year-old Guyanese woman was charged with four drugs-related offences after she was arrested on her arrival at the Grantley Adams International Airport on Wednesday.
Tomika Onessa Gonsalves was charged with possession of cocaine, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of cocaine, after cocaine weighing 0.5 kilograms was found concealed on her person.
She appeared in the Oistins Magistrates Court today and pleaded guilty to the above-mentioned offenses. She was fined $50,000 forthwith or two years in prison. The fine was not paid.
