Two men from Codrington Hill, St Michael, have been remanded to HMP Dodds after appearing in the District A Magistrates Court on charges of wounding with intent, in relation to the stabbing of Arnold Atwell on Monday.
Atwell was on Black Rock Main Road when he was accosted and wounded by a number of men including Smith and Belle on Grand Kadooment Day.
Police close by responded and detained the men along with their weapons.
Atwell was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance and treated for two stab wounds to his back and was admitted with a partially collapsed right lung.
Ryan Andre Smith, 33, and Jose McDonald Belle, 40, both pleaded not guilty when they appeared in court. They were remanded until August 13.
