Two St John men, who were caught by law enforcement officers with bags containing 368 sea eggs, have been charged.
Erskine Adolphus Pollard, 54, and David Orlando Bennett, 43, of Bath Land are due to appear at the District “C” Magistrate’s Court today charged with fishing for sea eggs during closed season and possession.
Pollard was reportedly found with 150 sea eggs, while David Bennett had 218.
The operation was conducted on Saturday by members of the Marine Unit at Bath beach in the parish.
