A 32-year-old man is in critical but stable condition at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital following a shooting incident in South District, St George.
According to acting police public relations officer, acting station sergeant Roland Cobbler, the man was shot three times in the back by a gunman around 11:30 am on Saturday.
Investigations are currently underway.
Lawmen are also probing the shooting of a male teenager by two unknown assailants.
The 17-year-old was shot in his buttocks while in Roebuck Street, St Michael on Saturday around 10:50 pm.
Also under investigation is this morning’s shoot-out between two men in the Westbury, St Michael area.
No one was injured in that incident which occurred around 9: 06 am.
