A Jamaican national has been sentenced to time behind bars after pleading guilty to drug charges.
Richard Clive Sewell, 46, was sentenced to 18 months each for trafficking and importation of seven pounds of cannabis.
The sentences will run concurrently.
He was convicted, reprimanded and discharged for possession when he appeared in the District “B” Magistrate’s Court today.
Sewell was arrested after arriving at the Grantley Adams International Airport on Saturday from Jamaica.
