Head of the Anglican Church in Barbados, the Most Reverend Dr John Holder, has declined to comment on the remand of the Reverend Frank Gill to HM Dodds after lawmen found 60 rounds of ammunition at his residence at Friendly Hall, Hothersal Turning, St Michael.
When contacted by Barbados TODAY, the Archbishop of the West Indies would only say: “ It is not what it seems to be.”
Gill was remanded to Dodds yesterday after appearing before Magistrate Deborah Holder in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Reports indicate that Gill did not have a valid permit for the ammunition.
Gill, 79, represented by attorney-at-law Kendrid Sargeant, is scheduled to reappear in court on January 10. (NC)
