A Trinidadian man appears in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today after being slapped with four drug-related charges.
Thirty-six-year old Marlon Leonard Waldron has been charged with possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of half kilogram of cocaine following a law enforcement operation at the Grantley Adams International Airport yesterday.
Waldron arrived from Trinidad about 1 p.m, and was in transit to the United Kingdom. Police say when he was preparing to depart, a search by Customs revealed three packages containing cocaine hidden in a false bottom of his suitcase.
